Meaning “brick” in Italian, the SILCA Mattone is an award-winning seat bag powered by the BOA® Closure System. The Mattone Grande takes it a step further, offering 77cm³ of internal volume—more than twice the original Mattone—providing ample storage for long rides, adventures, or races.

The Mattone Grande can hold up to 3 road tubes, 2 CO2 cartridges, 2 tire levers, and a multi-tool, or alternatively, two 29x2.5 MTB tubes with CO2, levers, and tools. Its design ensures you’re fully prepared without added bulk.

Like the original Mattone, a high-friction Hypalon strap with BOA® Closure secures the bag under your saddle. Generating 15× the holding power of Velcro®, the ratcheting BOA® system won’t loosen under extreme vibration or impact, keeping the bag stable—no swinging, swaying, or rattling.
